The Red Flex Watch represents Mariners Outreach.

Rojo Gomez is a small community in Mexico where Mariners Outreach as partnered with Lo Mejor Del Trigo church to help serve the physical and spiritual needs of the poor in Mexico. The statistics prove the need: 40% of the population in Mexico lives below the poverty line. The average income per family is $80 a week. It is estimated that 95% of children in the Rojo Gomez community go to school without food, at all. In October 2010 we were able to we were able to build a kitchen and launch the much needed Breakfast Program. This Breakfast Program allows us to feed 250-300 children each morning with a warm & nutritious meal before they go to school. This is keeping kids in school longer and helping them be more focused while at school allowing them to further their education and therefore helping them to be the change within their own community. This community is coming together around this kitchen and has found a safe gathering place, a warm meal & fellowship that continues to grow every day.
