A new sea

I think God has taken away
what he has from me to throw me into a pool of "new"
new people that is
i am at a point in my life where i am re-discovering
who i am
i thought i knew who i was but...
my world has once again been flipped upside down
its time to start over...again
its time to get it right
i have a fresh start
i no longer associate with anyone
i went to high school with really
its time to put my best self forward
its time to portray and become
everything i want to
but i know i have to do it God's way
i tried to do "my own thing"
it surely didnt work
it didnt lead me to true happiness
lesson learned
i am humbled
starting a new beginning is scary i'll admit, but i have no choice
so i embrace this time,
i welcome it with arms wide open
its time to be a better me
as long as i start doing the right things
God will put the right people in my path
i truly believe that
i also believe i have three very special
guardian angels watching over me
its a fresh start
i will put my best self forward

Wyoming day 4

Had some delicious omelets and toast with hot chocolate and juice for breakfast then we packed up the raft, some drinks and fishing gear then headed to murphy lake. Dad kyle and i jumped in the raft to do some fishing, it felt so good outside! dad started ordering kyle and i around "paddle over here, now there, other side of the lake!" etc. it was awful, we just wanted to swim! kyle fell out of the raft so i jump in with him were both shrieking because the water is so cold yet is feels so good, we cant even make it back in the raft were laughing so hard so dad yanks us in right as kyle sits on the edge of the raft i shove him back in but then i fall in as well! dad is shedding tears of laughter its just a good time! then kyle and i paddle dad to one side of the lake so he can fish after we drop him off we lay out for a bit then we hear a "wooosshh!" the raft has torn! we scramble to cover the fairly large hole. Kyle paddles while i cover, we make it safely to shore. No more raft, its a huge bummer. We stick around, cut up some watermelon then go back to camp. Kyle and i play 21 talk and eat then dad asks if we want to go shooting so we all hop on a 4-wheeler and ride around to check a few spots out. We run into two lady's on horses with their dog and we talk to them for a little while, thats what i love about the country, everyone is so nice, seriously you can talk to anyone! We finally pick a spot, set up some targets and shoot a 22 pistol. I still cant hear. Shooting was way fun though. Its 6:45 were having chips and salsa and sandwiches for dinner. Tomorrow were leaving :(  i love it out here, the air is so fresh and breath-able! it smells like pine trees and sagebrush. Plus my dad is so happy out here, this is him in his element, at his finest. It is for all of us! We all get along so well out here. Aside from the ringing in my ears i hear a strange clinking sound every so often, i tell kyle and he says "great you can actually hear you brain cells exploding" we laugh and i ask if he hears it too he says "no" i say "thats probably because you have no brain cells left!" another round of laughter. I love my brother.

Wyoming day 3

The days are blurring together and going by all too quickly. Today woke up, had pancakes for breakfast, read, chilled at camp mostly, the boys took the raft up the river a ways to do some fishing, before i know it i hear thunder! I stick around camp for a while but then i see lightning and i get worried about the boys so i take a 4-wheeler to a look out spot just up the road, it gets really windy and starts raining when i get to the look out and am able to see up the river a way i see no sign of them. I head back to camp, back to reading while the thunder and lightning rage on but the rain lightens up. Soon enough the boys are back, kyle has caught a fish and they have crazy stories for us. Kyle and dad head to the river to gut the fish and wash off, me and kyle goof off with the fish, disgusting but hilarious then i butter and salt it and wrap it up . Mom seasons some ribs and dad tosses them in the dutch over. Once again we have to go inot town i need to remind my boss that i will be gone till tuesday. We get to town grab some gas cans and water jugs and fill them up then head back to camp. The rain starts pouring down like mad! it doesnt upset me at all we have a trailer plus its just so beautiful! when we get back to camp the rain is gone and we have ribs, corn on the cob and rolls for dinner, de-lish! then my dad and i go for a 4-wheeler ride to rays spring and boy Y. It's chilly but a fun ride. We fill our water bottles from the FREEZING spring, talk a little and go to box Y just up the road then head back to camp. It's 8:10 right now grandpa is reading kyle is sleeping mom and dad went for a 4-wheeler ride and to fish. Tomorrow i think we'll go to murphy(locness) lake if the weather is good and shoot some guns! I may even try fishing. I dont really want to leave...

Wyoming day 2

I WOKE UP IN A SAUNA:

I had a rough night of sleep last night, between kyle breathing heavily, twigs snapping and bushes rustling it was hard to sleep at all! When i finally did fall asleep i woke up multiple times. Then i finally cant sleep at all anymore because ITS SO HOT! who knew the tent doubled as a sauna? not i. My parents and grandpa are already awake. We have french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, juice and hot chocolate for breakfast, im not sure why but food tastes so much better out here! it was DELICIOUS! I got talking to my grandpa a little and he said how important it is to love your job. I am very VERY BLESSED to LOVE my job. I always look forward to going into work.
Todays agenda :
-ride 4-wheelers
-float river
-eat
-relax
-go for a run

I think i will go tear up some dirt now! ;)

DIRT-STACHE ANYONE??

after breakfast and clean up we got the raft out and jumped in the river right in front of camp with dad on the back as always, my mom on the right and myself on the left and kyle at the front! first time. sketchy business. for the first little while it was stressful because it had been a year since we had rafted and kyle was new to being on the front. plus the river is always changing, curving, the rapids are sucking you this way and that, there are fishers, logs, rocks and shallow spots. it gets intense. we hit two gnarly spots! the first we saw A LOT of downfall in the river so we all bailed off the raft and dragged it to a rocky island luckily right there for us just in time! our only choice was to walk across the raging rapids to the other side of all the downfall, i was so scared! the river is deep and strong but i didnt have a choice we all made it safely and kept going. the next spot was some CRAY-CRAY unexpected rapids and BIG rocks! kyle is soaking wet and slipping all over the place, dad is barking commands like "paddle hard right, hard right! now left left!" my mom and i are holding on for life then we go straight for a huge rapid and hit it hard! kyle starts falling so my mom and i grab the back of his life vest and pull him backwards into the raft, with out kyle steering as well we hit a huge rock! dad is paddling frantically to keep us away from the high pokey walls while the rest of us help kyle get situated again once were out of the rapids dad shows us he broke the paddle in two! haha but we got out the next chance we had and grandpa was waiting for us with the truck. We ride back to camp and decide to go to town to buy a new paddle. Kyle and i take 4-wheelers and dad and grandpa ride in the truck and mom stays at camp. I turn on my music and take the lead. A couple times there are herds of cows blocking the road  so i reach out and pet them(: its fetching hot especially with the engine burning my ankles but going 45 mph feels pretty good minus the bugs hitting your chest (OUCH!) 25 miles later were in town. we pick up the things we need real quick and are on our way back. Finally were at camp again a 50 mile 4-wheeler ride leaves you completely covered in dust! i wipe off with a wet rag but still feel disgusting so i jump in the river, its freezing but refreshing as well. Now kyle and grandpa are sleeping and mom and dad went for a 4-wheeler ride and i am doing this. all i can hear is the river and birds...and the sound of me eating garden salsa chips ha i feel like i am on another planet, everything is so beautiful here! no picture does any justice its so peaceful. Well steak and crab are for dinner pretty gourmet stuff i must say. Us Johnson's we do camping right!

I THINK COWS ARE ADORABLE!

I finished my book in two days i have another one but it reminds me a little too much about person things im going through which i dont want to be reminded of. Tried the crab at dinner it tastes like eggs to me, i didnt like it. But hey! im all for trying new things! Dad is making lava brownie fudge cake for dessert in the dutch over, a camping classic along with any type of cobbler.  Anyway i cant quite tell if im getting a good tan or if im just really that dirty. Probably both. At least we have a shower in our trailer, I'll probably do that after we go to the lake.
